I was lucky enough this year to be able to attend the Llano Rockn’ Riverfest in Badu Park this past Saturday. My kids and I got up early and arrived around 10:30 am on Saturday and were able to wander through Badu Park checking out all of the wares the vendors had to offer before it got too hot. Once it got hot, though, it got REALLY hot. We visited all of the booths and got to see all of the shows, but the most exciting of all, I believe, was the Duck Race.

MARBLE FALLS—When you say Llano’s final two 7-on-7 games, June 28, weren’t too bad, you’re right. However, when compared to learning of Matthew Center’s injury, it’s sort of like asking Elin, “Besides Tiger’s propensity for paramours, what kind of a husband was he?” Please read close by the account of Center’s knee.

Sometimes Llano’s summertime baseball guys don’t seem like the Bash Brothers, or Joltin’ Jackets, or bruisers in Black and Orange orbit, but then along comes a new month, and an impressive July 1st impression is made: a 12-9 thumping of Marble Falls on an especially cool night if you’ve just returned from the Topics. First Inning It wasn’t hitting so much as being hit in Llano’s initial trip to the plate.
