First of all I would like to express our appreciation to Promote Llano, all the sponsors and volunteers that made the 2nd Annual Blue Bell Bluegrass Classic Car Show such a huge success.

The Chamber was the proud sponsor of the “Taste of Llano” which kicked off the weekend events with tasty delights from many local restaurants and caterers.

We appreciate the Badu Wine Pub, Acme Café, Lone Star Coffee, China Wok, Stonewall’s Pizza, Wings & Things, Griff’s Catering, Cooper’s BBQ, Granite Top Bar & Grill and Inman’s Kitchen for providing free samples for the public to taste.

The 77th Annual Llano Open Pro Rodeo will kick off Friday night at 8 p.m. The Rodeo Parade will take place Saturday morning around the Town Square at 10 a.m.

It will be followed by a BBQ lunch on the Courthouse lawn, which is hosted by our local Boy Scouts. The Rodeo Queen’s Contestants will hold a Fashion Show for you to enjoy during lunch. Then the Rodeo will begin at 8 p.m. and a dance featuring Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys will follow.

The Rodeo Queen’s Contestants and their sponsors are selling tickets through Thursday as part of their competition. The Chamber will have tickets to sell beginning Friday or you can purchase your tickets at the rodeo.

Call us at 325-247-5354, stop by the Visitor Center or visit llanochamber.org for rodeo information or to find out more about other upcoming events in Llano.
