David Lawrence Evans, 69, of Bluffton, passed away June 10, 2012. He was born to David Lawrence and Louise (Barnett) Evans on March 1, 1943 in Texas City, Texas.

Mr. Evans proudly served for four years as a military policeman with the Texas National Guard. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Lynda Fitch on August 15, 1964. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, he enjoyed making homemade bread and cookies. 

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Brad and Mindy Evans of Buchanan Dam, Texas; daughter Lisa Howard of Georgetown, Texas; former wife Lynda Evans of Burnet, Texas; grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Nathan and Maya Evans, Amber and Brian Howard; sisters, Sylva Roach of Bluffton, Texas and Linda Revel of Carrollton, Texas. His parents, an infant son Darin Keith Evans and sister Romona Pennock precede him in death.
