Wednesday, June 27, 2012 • Posted June 28, 2012

This year marks the 10th Annual Rock’n Riverfest, held at Badu Park along the banks of the Llano River.

Starting on June 29, Badu Park will come alive with ‘more fun than is imaginable’ as the event kicks off on Friday with the 4Wheelin’ – King of the Hill event at Toyland.

On Saturday, be prepared - between the Children’s Fun park (with inflatable fun!), Razz River Run 5K Poker Walk/Run, a Kid’s Fishing Event, BBQ Cook-off, Rock’n Car Bash, Silent Auction and more, there is absolutely something for everyone!

Other events include the ever-popular Rubber Duck Race and the Anything that Floats But a Boat Competition – watch out! – you just might get wet!

A washer tournament, children’s parade, live music, and some of the best food ever round out this weekend marathon of fun!

Saturday night will come to a close with a bang! One of the best fireworks displays around will thrill spectators, beginning at around 9:30pm or dark. No Justice will make you want to get up and dance at the annual street dance.

Wherever you are, whatever you do – you do not want to miss out on this event!

The Rock’n Riverfest is a project of the Llano Christmas Lighting Committee, and all proceeds will benefit the Christmas Lighting Fund.
