Dear Editor,

You know when you vote for the President, you are not really electing a Presdient, you are electing someone to vote for the President for you. The fact is they could vote for somone else if they chose to.

This is basically how the Electoral College works. Than’s why in a Presidential Election, they count electoral votes.

When I first learned how the Electoral College worked, I thought “How arrogant of our Founders to think that the American public was too ignorant to directly elect a President.” However, “They were exactly right.”
