The Llano Uplift Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented DAR’s prestigious Good Citizen Award to 4 area High School Seniors.

 Winners this year were:  Marble Falls High School – Korey Lane  Presented by – Dr. Carole Buchanan of Buchanan Dam

Llano High School – Sarah Fordyce – Presented by Linda Groff of Llano

Burnet High School – Taylor Rowe – Presented by Georgi Brochstein of Marble Falls

Faith Academy in Marble Falls = Brook Field – Presented by Georgi Brochstein of Marble Falls

 Each winner was awarded a $150 scholarship, a certificate from NSDAR signed by the National President General , Merry Ann T. Wright, a Good Citizen Award pin and a card stating her winning status.

 Llano Uplift awards these awards on an annual basis to each of the above mentioned schools. 

The awards are presented each year at the school’s annual award ceremony.
