Elma Erestine Keisler
1918-2012

Elma Erestine Keisler, 93, of Kingsland, passed away, July 15, 2012. She was the daughter of Charles Warren and Estelle V. (Swann) Webster born on November 11, 1918 in Bartlett, Texas.

Elma was a homemaker. She lived most of her adult life in Rosenberg, Texas. She and her husband, Leo, retired to Buchanan Lake Village in 1994. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Rosenberg, Texas and attended the First Union Church in Buchanan Dam. She was an avid gardener and reader, but her greatest joy in life was cooking huge meals for family gatherings.

Elma is survived by her daughter, Mae (Judy) Finch, daughter-in-law, Shirley Keisler, grand daughters, Brenda Gumbert and Tara Cooper, great grand children, Ashley Holbrook, Savanna Gumbert, Trenton Gumbert, sisters, Ywanita Wooton and Jean Eixmann, four great great grandchildren also survive.

Elma is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leo Jr. Keisler, son, Lonnie Keisler, grandson, Kevin Keisler and brothers, Charles (Buddy) Webster and Fritz Webster.

A visitation was held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 with Rev. Jerald Moore officiating. Interment will be held at Bluffton Cemetery, Bluffton, Texas .An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com
