Alice Jane Bedell Parks, 86, of Kingsland, Texas, formerly of Round Rock, Texas, passed away July 14, 2012. She was born to Ward and Jean (Fellows) Bedell on December 21, 1925 in Concord, Vermont.

Mrs. Parks worked as an accounts clerk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and operated a rental property cleaning business in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Alice had been in the Kingsland area since 2007 and prior to that she was a resident of Round Rock. She and her husband Howard, upon retirement, became full time RV’ers. They both loved to travel. She had visited 49 states. By herself, at the age of 80, Alice visited two of her grandsons in Alaska.

Alice is survived by her children, Raymond (Linda) Parks of Okeechobee, Florida, Sarah (Calvin) Oberndorfer of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Susan (Mark) Wieland of Kingsland, Texas, foster son, John (Sharon) Foley of Davenport, Florida, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family would like to thank Hill Country Hospice for their care and guidance.

A celebration of Alice’s life will be held at the residence of Susan Wieland on July 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
