Starting this Thursday, July 26 (and every Thursday until we get it done) at 9:00 we will have a work party at the jail to tear out the remainder of the first floor.

Last time, we tore out the tongue-and-groove flooring of two rooms in the jailor’s quarters. We need the rest of the flooring out now so that we can begin the bidding process for 32 piers that need to be installed.

If you have a couple of hours free, please come and help. Please bring crowbars and other removal equipment.
