Wednesday, August 15, 2012 • Posted August 17, 2012

Youth who are interested in the 4-H shooting sports program must attend two upcoming safety classes in order to participate during the 2012-2103 4-H year.  These mandatory classes will be offered at 3:30 p.m. on September 9 and September 16 at the Llano County Texas AgriLife Extension meeting room, located at 1447 E. State Hwy. 71.  A parent or guardian must accompany youth to each of these meetings.  In addition to learning about firearm safety and range rules, youth will learn about 4-H enrollment procedures.  Participants in the 4-H shooting sports program must be at least age 8 and in the third grade as of August 31, 2012.  Seawillow Schmidt is the club manager for the Straight Shooters 4-H Club.  For additional information, contact the Texas AgriLife Extension Office at 325-247-5159.

Educational programs of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service are open to all people without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, or national origin.  If you need any special accommodations, please contact the Texas AgriLife Extension Office, Llano County, at 325-247-5159 so that we can consider your request.
