Billie Rae Fraser, age 76 of Lewisville, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 in Plano, Texas.

She was born January 13, 1936 in Dublin, Texas to Raymond Rogers and Thelma Stewart Rogers. Billie Rae married Ray Fraser on August 24, 1957 in Abilene. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2011. For 15 years, she volunteered with the Sick Children’s Clinic in Lubbock, Texas. Full of life, she will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, friend and grandmother. Billie Rae was a true example of kindness and grace.

Her daughters, Cathy Fraser Chong and husband, Julian Maki Chong and Kimberly Lee Thurstin and husband, Mark Gregory Thurstin and two grandchildren, Lucy Rae Chong and Race Fraser Chong, survive Billie Rae.

A memorial service to celebrate Billie Rae’s life was held at 4:00 pm Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Llano City Cemetery, Llano, Texas.

The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Susan G. Komen Search for the Cure, the American Stroke Association or any organization of the donor’s choice.
