Faye Louise Shearer

Faye Louise Shearer was born in Brady, Texas, on March 14, 1929, to Thelma and William Sheppard.  She joined her beloved Wibby in their heavenly home on November 5, 2012. 

Faye attended school in Brady and Mason, and graduated from Mason High School.  She met the love of her life, Wibby Shearer, in 1943.  On August 20, 1947, Wibby and Faye began their wonderful, 64-year life together.  Faye loved spending time with her family and cherished being a mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Faye is survived by her loving daughters, Pam Spiller, and Kris Lloyd and her husband Billy; grandchildren Gena Spiller, Shelly Schuessler and her husband Chapel, and Billy Bob Lloyd; great-grandson, Kimble Schuessler.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wibby Shearer, parents, and sisters Nina Stephens and Ruth Stutler.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Mason Square Museum.

Pallbearers are Gary Wade, Leon Sherwood, Chapel Schuessler, Jon Stutler, Sean Reardon, and David Williams.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the “Supper Club,” Marian Leifeste, Boog and Joyce Holloway, Clinton Durst and Stanley Grote.

The Shearer family would like to express their sincere appreciation to their many friends and family members who have given their support to Faye over the past few months, and to the caregivers of Country Home Health and Hill Country Memorial Hospice.

Funeral services are being held on Wednesday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Mason.  Interment will follow at the Gooch Cemetery.   Visitation was Tuesday evening at Mason Funeral Home.
