James Lyle Moore

James Lyle Moore, 91, of Kingsland passed away January 21, 2013. He was born to Oliver Oscar and Bernice (Brewer) Moore on November 21, 1921 in Burkburnett, Texas.

James worked at various jobs during his lifetime. He was a lumberman, constructed planes during WWII and was a rancher. He was a member of the Hell’s Angels, IOOF, and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball, hunting and fishing and especially riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Ben Rodriguez of Marble Falls; son, Denton Foster of Cottonwood, California; seven grandchildren;11 great grandchildren; and sister, Genevieve Lowry of Santa Barbara, California.

James was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha (Odell) Moore in 1982 and son Ronald Moore in 1993

A Celebration of Life service was held at the Putnam Funeral Home on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Bishop Fred DeBusk officiating. Private inurnment will be held in Muleshoe, Texas. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com
