Mildred Dean Goble of Llano passed away August 9, 2010 at the age of 86 years old. She was born April 9, 1924 in Lampasas to Hettie Merle (Reeves) and Thomas Jefferson Benoist. Mildred was a homemaker and loved to fish and dance. She moved to the area eight years ago coming from Mathis, Texas.

Survivors include daughters Jeanette McPherson & husband Sam of Llano, Glenda Mc Glothin of Llano, Mary Cutler & husband Jerry of Hamilton; sons Thomas Allen of Seabrook, and Earl Goble of Burnet; sister-in-law Aloha Pittman of Llano; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hettie and Thomas Benoist, husband Earl B. Goble, sister Thelma Moss, brother Kyle Benoist, grandson David Earl Logan and daughter-in-law Linda Allen.

Viewing will begin Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00am and graveside service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 3:00pm at the Kingsland Cemetery with Reverend Jerald Moore officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Llano County Special Opportunity School at 206 East Main Street, Llano, Texas 78643 or to the Kingsland Cemetery at 824 Selman Street, Kingsland, Texas 78639.
