Wednesday, January 25, 2012 • Posted January 25, 2012

In a letter sent to home to parents Monday, Llano Elementary School introduced Interim Principal, Annette Moresco.

Ms. Moresco succeeds Keeva Frazier, who was reassigned to a position at the Alternative Learning Center.

Ms. Moresco has 30 years of experience as an educator, spending the final 11 years with LISD.

She taught fourth grade at Llano Elementary, third grade at Packsaddle, served as a program coordinator and Principal at Packsaddle before retiring in 2010.

In the letter, Ms. Moresco said, “I look forward to working with the students, staff, and parents. Llano Elementary is a Recognized campus and we will work together to continue that success.

LISD Superintendent Dennis Hill said, “We appreciate Ms. Moresco’s willingness to step into this interim position. She is well known among the staff and a fine administrator.”

Mr. Hill said he would be working closely with district staff as they begin a search for qualified candidates.

Upon a thorough search process and LISD School Board approval, Mr. Hill anticipates a new Principal will be in place for the 2012-13 school year.
