The Llano Jr. High boys had quite a successful evening at the Bandera Middle School Relays Friday, March 28. Both the 7th grade and 8th grade boys won first place in their respective divisions. Each team is very proud of their plaques that read “Bander Middle School Pre-District Relays Seventh/Eighth Grade Boys Champion.”

The teams hope they can improve on their outstanding performance next week at the 25-3A District Track Meet held at Jacket Stadium Friday, April 4. The 3200m Run and selected field events will begin at 3:40 p.m.

There was one new junior high school record set at Bandera by Marcos Vallejo. He established a new mark in the 8th grade boys 3200M Run. Vallejo’s outstanding time of 10:38 replaces the old mark of 10:49.48 set by Elmer Perez in 2002.
