Mark your calendar and make it a date to take someone special in your life out to eat on Saturday, April 26, at participating restaurants. Your participation will help aid abused children in local communities.

In recognition of April being Child Abuse Awareness Month, several local restaurants have agreed to donate based on meal tickets on April 26 in support of CASA for the Highland Lakes Area.

CASA for the Highland Lakes Area provides direct assistance and advocacy to child victims of abuse and/or neglect in Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano, and San Saba counties, that have been removed from their homes and are in State care.

As of this article, participating restaurants include: Andy’s Landing (Burnet), Bluebonnet Café (Marble Falls), China Kitchen (Marble Falls), Opie’s BBQ (Spicewood), River City Grill (Marble Falls), Spyke’s BBQ (Kingsland), Storm’s (Burnet, Kingsland, Lampasas & Marble Falls), Super Taco (Marble Falls), Tealicious (Burnet) and Stonewall’s Pizza, Wings and Things (Llano).
