The Highland Lakes Chapter of Texas Exes announces the holding of their Annual Round-Up.

It will take place on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at The Trails of Lake LBJ. Cleve Bryant, athletic director for UT football, will be the featured speaker. He has extensive experience in working with Coach Mack Brown and is an integral part of the football organization.

The Round-Up will include a barbeque dinner, cash bar and silent and live auctions. Some of the live auction items are three nights/four days including breakfast during ski season in Pagosa Springs, Colo., a gourmet dinner and wine in Horseshoe Bay and two nights at the Lighthouse Inn, Aransas Bay in Rockport.

All proceeds from The Highland Lakes Texas Exes events go to the Scholarship Fund. According to Warren Newman, president, annual scholarships have averaged $20,214 over the past five years. They are awarded to high school seniors from Burnet, Llano and Marble Falls as well as to current UT students from these schools who maintain a 3.0 GPA and are full time students.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
