Kindergarten Roundup gets underway this week and, if you are the parent of a child who will be five years old September 1, it is time to prepare to register.

Packsaddle Elementary School (PES) Kindergarten Roundup will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 but Llano Elementary School (LES) will hold their event May 9.

Packsaddle Elementary Principal Annette Moresco noted that enrollment depends on your filing all of the three to four necessary documents.

Those are the child’s birth certificate, Social Security number card, a current immunization record and, in cases in which it applies, any legal custody documentation.

“We look forward to having your children next year at Packsaddle Elementary School, but they don’t have to come along to register now,” said Moresco.

Packsaddle is located at 150 Pioneer Lane off RR 2900, (325) 388-8129. The LES campus is at 1600 Oatman Street, (325) 247-5718.

Immunization requirements are listed under the “Parents” tab at the left of the school Web site www.llano.k12.tx.us.
