Dorothy Bell, 80, of Kingsland, passed away Wednesday, April 16, in Llano. She was born on April 5, 1929, to Emmaline (Swafford) and Charlie Clay Taylor in Wilson.

Mrs. Bell was married to Benjamin Bell on November 27, 1952, in Waxahachie, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Ruth Evelyn Taylor and Margaret Viola Taylor.

She is survived by daughter, Barbara Geiger, of Kingsland; son, Robert Allen Bell of Iowa Park; brothers, Charlie Ray Taylor and John Robert Taylor; grandchildren, TJ Geiger II and Benjamin Bell.

Mrs. Bell was a graduate of Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, and retired as a teacher in Colorado City. She was also in the Army of Occupation and stationed in Germany and active in Campfire Girls for many years.

Services are pending at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to any Charity of Choice.
