Nell Miller Harris, 90, of Llano, passed away April 19. She was born Oct. 27, 1917 in Fredonia, to Vernon Eugene Miller and Ora (Panky) Miller.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Percy L. Harris; her sister Lucille Shearer; and her brother Dallas Miller.

She is survived by her brother, Fay Miller of Llano; her three nieces, Frederica Foster of Llano, Sonya Griffin of San Saba, Beverly Baker of Fredonia; and her four nephews, Stanley Miller of Llano, Dr. Larry Miller of Belton, Frosty Miller of Pontotoc, and Marc Miller of Llano. Mrs. Harrisis also survived by numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as special friend Elsie Clopton of Cherokee.

Mrs. Harris married Percy L. Harris in 1941. Her hobbies included bridge, flower gardening, flower arranging, shell collecting and museums. She loved to travel with family and friends. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Llano Church of Christ.

Funeral Services were held Monday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano with Bro. Lester Bagley officiating. Burial followed at the Union Band Cemetery in San Saba County.

Serving as pallbearers were Kody King, Kaden Baker, Faron Miller, Heath Miller W.D. (Dub) Miller, and Matt Devine.
