Royce Allen Henry, 78, of Kingsland, passed away April 13. He was born to Sol and Zada Pearl (Reid) Henry on March 16, 1930 in Pernell, Okla.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, Jimmy Henry, and daughter, Joylyn Tillotson.

Mr. Henry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Maridell Henry, of Kingsland; his daughters, LeAnn Holloway and husband, Barah, of Tracy, Calif., Jan Brazell and husband, Delton, of Ft. Worth, Tana Gray and husband, Murray, of Granbury; his grandchildren, Brandon Holloway, of Tracy, Calif., Yvette Marcum and husband, Larry, of Aztec, N.M., Britney Fox and fiancé Don Nodal, of Fort Worth, Jada Brazell, of Austin, Cody Truesdale, of Grand Junction, Colo., Shana Gray, Austin, Casi Daugherty and husband, Wes, of Kyle; his seven great-grandchildren; his brother, Forrest Henry and wife, Pat, of Lovington, N.M., Wendell Henry, of Corpus Christi; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Henry, of Lovington, N. M.

Mr. Henry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and married Maridell Lambert on Oct. 21, 1960 in Farmington, N.M. He was a teacher and coach during his career. He loved to fly, travel, and ride bikes.

A visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 15. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 16, at the Putnam Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at Richland Springs Cemetery in Richland Springs.
