Vivian Horlen, of Castell and Dennis and Mary Lewis, of Flower Mound announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Kristin Lewis and Kyle Horlen. Kristin graduated in 2002 with a B.A. from Rice University and then attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a DVM in 2006. She did a year internship at Kansas State and she is currently practicing in Sugar Land. Kyle graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2006. After a year of research in virology at Kansas State University, he returned to Texas to practice small animal medicine in Sugar Land. Grandparents of the couple are Clifford and Ella Lang, of Castell, Fred and Nina Horlen, of Marble Falls, the late Evelyn Horlen, Richard and Winnie Gillen of Seabrook, and A.C. and Mary Lewis of McAllister, Okla. The couple is planning a June 21 wedding at the Rice University Chapel in Houston.
