On April 12, Craig Martin, Colton Roark, and Jason Hinton competed at Extravagaza in Brownwood.

Martin placed first in Traditional Archery and fourth in Light Rifle.Roark placed second in 3-Position and eighth in Light Rifle. This was Roark’s first competition.

Hinton placed seventh in Archery Recurve and 15th in 3-Position.

Martin and Hinton competed previously in Manor on March 1.

Martin placed second in Archery Compound Bow, which was his first archery competition. He also placed fourth in 3-Position and sixth in Light Rifle.

Hinton placed first in .22 Rifle Silhouette and second in Archery Recurve.

The boys were coached by Dennis Hinton, Eddie Martin and Chris Putnam. The Straight Shooters elected offiers are Craig Martin, president, Brian Bilski, vice president, Trey Poe, treasurer, and Carter Churchill, secretary.
