Think picnics, kites, and wildflowers, but whatever you do be sure to spring into action and save a life. First Baptist Church located at 107 West Luce in Llano, is giving everyone a chance to save lives at their blood drive Monday, April 28 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the church gym.

“The bottom line is simple. Our community doesn’t have a blood supply without volunteer blood donors,” says Dianne Hoy, First Baptist Church. “I urge everyone in our community of Llano to rally together and donate blood at the First Baptist Church blood drive on April 28.”

Thanks to the generosity of blood donors, countless people have been able to live and enjoy an improved quality of life.

Sign up now by calling Dianne Hoy at (325) 247-4803 to schedule your blood donation appiontment. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Basic requirements for donating: donor must be at least 17 years old, weight at least 110 lbs and be in general good health. Please bring a photo ID and know your social security number.
