Local cancer survivors and their caregivers were treated to a dinner hosted by the Acme Cafe last Tuesday as part of the local Relay for Life events.

Forty-five survivors and caregivers enjoyed a meal of pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, and strawberry cake, generously donated by Acme Cafe.

The Relay for Life is an annual fund raiser for the American Cancer Society.

This year’s Relay will be held April 25-26, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., at the football stadium in Llano.
