Wednesday, January 27th, the pastors of the Llano Ministerial Alliance meeting agreed to begin a collection of new or used blankets and heaters for the the month of February. These will supply the people of Llano who have need with the means to stay warm during the coldest part of the year. Young or old it doesn’t matter, there is no criteria to meet and no questions asked. Contact one of the three pastors listed below if you have a need for blankets or heaters or if you desire to make a donation. Points of contacts for drop-off and distribution are: First Presbyterian Church, 1306 Ford Street, Pastor Rich Lounsbery, 247-4917; Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church, 709 Pittsburg Avenue and Dallas Street, Pastor Danny Meegan, 247-4042 and Llano Church of God of Prophecy, 807 Anniston, Pastor Ervin Light, 247-1880. The pastors agreed that next year the campaign would begin earlier and hopefully would be better able to supply needs in all Llano County.
