1923 - 2010

Donald Joseph Rozycki, 86 years of age died on Feb. 1, 2010 at his residence in Kingsland. A native of Minneapolis, Minn., he was born to Vincent and Stella Hebzynski Rozycki on Sept. 28, 1923.

After his schooling, Donald served in the U.S. Armed Forces. After his discharge, he was employed as a production foreman. He had lived for some time in Lehigh, Fla. prior to moving to Kingsland 16 years ago. Donald attended St. Charles Catholic Church in Kingsland and loved to work in his yard.

Survivors include children, Cheryl Monos, of Sugar Hill, Ga., Gary Rozycki, Phoenix, Ariz., Donna Schafer, of Centuria, Wis., Gregory Rozycki, of Kingsland, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, brother, Richard Rozycki, of Minneapolis, Minn., sister, Marcella Zmuda, of Columbia Heights, Minn., and brother, Bill Bosko and wife Ester.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife, Doris Rozycki, and daughter, Mary Christenson.

A Memorial Service was held at the Putnam Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at 3:00pm. An online guest register is available at www.putnamfunerals.com.
