Candy Kokernot, Llano County Elections Administrator, reminds voters that early voting for the March 2 primary elections begins on Tuesday, February 16 at three locations in Llano County.

None of the local races in the Democratic primary are contested. Don Stiles and Roy Inks are vying for the Republican nomination for Pct. 4 Llano County Commissioner and the right to take on incumbent Democrat Jerry Don Moss in the general election.

Several other races in the local Republican primary are contested. Jesse James, Marvin Gray, Paul Green and Linda Raschke are running for the Pct. 2 seat of retiring County Commissioner Henry Parker.

Bob Sykes, W. Kermit Robinson, Sheila Stewart and incumbent Richard Owen are running for the Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace position.

Tom McCray and incumbent Linda Ballard are running for the Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace position.

Kokernot said voters may drop by her office at the Llano County Elections Office located at 1447 East Hwy. 71 in the Llano County Annex building between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays to view a sample ballot.
