CITY OF HORSESHOE BAY, TEXAS PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ZONING RECOMMENDATION FOR THE NEWLY ANNEXED LAKE AREAS, ALL IN LLANO COUNTY, TEXAS

The City of Horseshoe Bay Planning & Zoning Commission will conduct public hearings at a Special Meeting on recommendations to City Council for establishing Zoning Classifications for each of the following newly annexed areas, as required by Section 14.02.156 of the City Zoning Code. The public hearings will be held on December 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., to be held at City Hall, #1 Community Drive, Horseshoe Bay, Texas 78657, to receive public comment on the proposed Zoning Classifications for the following described areas:

All of the Lake LBJ lake bottom between the northern City Limits (beginning at the 825’ contour line of the shore line) and the existing Llano County/Burnet County Line, (which may also be the northern ETJ line), and extending from 100 feet offshore from both the northern and western shoreline of Oak Ridge Estates and the northern, southern, eastern and western shorelines of the LCRA Power Plant property, including bays and inlets. The lake bottom areas extend from the intersection of the Llano County/Burnet County Line and the northern City Limits line east of The Peninsula north and west along the Line to the intersection with the current City Limits at the eastern boundary of the north side of Lago Escondido.

The proposed Zoning Classifications have been filed with the City Secretary’s office of the City of Horseshoe Bay and are subject to public inspection at City Hall, #1 Community Drive, Horseshoe Bay, Llano County, Texas.

All written and oral objections to the proposed Zoning Classifications will be considered at the public hearing.
