Clarence Earl Davis, 79, of Llano, passed away April 21 in San Angelo. He was born Sept. 16, 1928, to Grace Moore Davis and John Davis, of Ponotoc.

Clarence is proceeded in death by his parents; his infant son, Gregory Lane Davis; his sister, Vida Mae; and his brothers, Sonny and Allen.

He is survived by his former spouse of 59 years, Mary Ellen Evans Davis, of Llano; his daughters Clarice Davis Pittman and husband, Glenn, of Llano, and Laura Kay Lindley and husband, Frank, of Mertzon; his son, Thomas Earl Davis and wife, Becky, of Valley Spring; his grandchildren, Staci Sullivan and husband, Mark, of New Braunfels, Laura Lee Johnson and husband, Chad, of Grandbury, T.J. Shipp and wife, Maria, of Van Horn, Miranda West, of Llano, and Logan Davis, of Valley Spring; his great grandchildren, Evan Weston Sullivan, Brennan Davis Sullivan, Alexis Renee Bates, Hannah Clarice Bates, Hayes Johnson, Tyler West and Kelly Shipp.
