1920 - 2010

Howard Aubry Trammell, Lt. Col. US Army Retired, 89, of Kingsland, passed away Feb. 9, 2010. He was born to Millard and Alma (Prichard) Trammell on April 18, 1920 in Avondale, Mo.

Mr. Trammell proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an American Advisor to the Korean Army two times during the Korean Conflict and an instructor of Military Tactics at Vanderbilt University.

He is survived by his sister, Pat McAfee, of Buchanan Dam and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at 10:00am Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Putnam Funeral Home Chapel. An online guest register may be signed at www.putnamfunerals.com. Full military honors will be provided by the Highland Lakes Honor Guard.
