1910 - 2010

Clara Ann Veteto, 99, of El Paso, formerly of Kingsland, passed away Feb. 16, 2010. She was born to William H. and Virginia Ann (Simms) Timms on May 1, 1910 in Pine Bluff, Ark.

She was a head designer for Frost Brothers Fashions in San Antonio in the 1950s. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family and beloved chihuahua, Quinny.

Mrs. Veteto is survived by her grandchildren, Renee Placker and husband Bill, of Granite Shoals, Robbie Veteto, of Granite Shoals, Jan Turman and husband Junior Turman, of Kingsland, Sandy Comstock and wife Jan, of Granite Shoals, Debbie Graff and husband Jim, of Ruidosa, N.M., great grandchildren, Johnny Veteto and wife Misty and their two children, of Kingsland, Jaclyn Milum and husband James and their two children, of Llano, Amber Murry and husband Brandon and their one child, of Fort Worth, John Comstock and wife Natasha, of Spicewood, Cory Comstock and wife Leslie and their three children, of Marble Falls, Chris Graff, of Ruidosa, N.M., Ashley Graff, of Ridosia, N.M.,Robert Ploch and family Valley, of Okla., Tammy Qualls and family, of Burnet, John White and family, of Lampasas

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny R. Veteto, son, Johnny R. Veteto, II, and grandson, Jack Wayne Veteto.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. An online guest register may be signed at www.putnamfunerals.com.
