Saturday is election day for the Llano City Council, Sunrise Beach City Commission and Kingsland Municipal Utility District.

Voters from Precincts 202 and 410 will cast their Llano City Council ballots at the Llano Fire Hall at 305 West Main Street. In Sunrise Beach, voting will be at city hall, 124 Sunrise Beach Drive. In Kingsland, KMUD balloting will be at the Kingsland Library, 125 West Polk Street.

A few voters in the county reside within the Burnet Consolidated School District. Precincts 203 and 307 also will vote at the Kingsland Library, but those in Precincts 204 and 25 should vote at Lakeshore Library, 7346 FM 261 in Buchanan Dam.

Llano voters will consider five candidates for three open seats on the Llano City Council in which current aldermen do not seek re-election. They are Mike Hazel, Ervin Light, Sarah Thompson, Mike Reagor and LaNell McKinney.

Mayor of the City of Sunrise Beach Village Pat Frain is unopposed. Candidates for the other two seats on the three-member Sunrise Beach City Commission are incumbent Ray Fleming, Sherry Fern, Lou Henson and Carleen Pengg.

KMUD President Mary Ann Hefner is unopposed but two candidates seek Place 2 on the board of directors. They are incumbent Frank Willingham and former director Joyce Ailshie.

In the BCISD Steven Salinas is unopposed for Place 7 on the school board. Three candidates are on the ballot for Place 3. They are Karen Barksdale, Billie Shelburn and Margaret Uhlig.
