The tournament – set Monday, May 12 – benefits the Spicewood and Pedernales EMS and Volunteer Fire Departments and honors the memory of Ron Pruitt, a Lakeside member and EMS Committee chair. Pruitt died in 1996 in a Spicewood car accident.

Golf begins with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, scramble format. Prizes include an EZ-GO golf cart for the first hole-in-one on #8, courtesy of Kingsland Depot; and a new Lincoln MKZ for the first hole-in-one on #17, courtesy of Johnson-Sewell Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Marble Falls.

Cost is $135 for golf, dinner, beverages and prizes; $25 for non-golfers to enjoy dinner and beer. $100 is tax-deductible.

Donations are welcome from those who can’t play or attend, but wish to support the local volunteer fire departments.
