Kaitlyn Newell, Kassie Stefan and Clare Tucker recieved exemplary achievement at the Texas State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) held on the University of Houston’s Clear Lake campus.

More than 17,500 students participated in the 20 regional VASE events. There were 1,764 state qualifiers exhibited at the campus.

These three student artists are among the best in Texas! This huge exhibition is judged once again and those scoring a four become the pool from which the gold seal traveling exhibit is chosen.

These young ladies are not in the traveling show but did once again receive top ratings, earning yet another medal for their excellent art work.

Kassie and Clare went to Houston to be a part of the event, spending the day in workshops, viewing their work within the exhibit, and being honored as outstanding young artists in Texas. Please take the time to congratulate them.
