James and Elaine Wheat, of Belton, and Vaughn and Melinda Ward, of Llano, announce the engagement of their children, Katy Wheat and Travis Ward. Katy graduated with a BFA degree in Art in 2005 from Mary Hardin-Baylor. Travis graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2005 with degrees from the University of Texas in Radio/TV/Film and in History. The couple will have a June 28 wedding at The Railroad and Heritage Museum in Temple.
