Stan Rountree, who handles residential dock inspections, will outline the Lower Colorado River Authority’s dock rules at the May 20 meeting of the Lake Buchanan Conservation Corp.

LCRA rules changed in 2004 and Rountree will talk about what is required for a boat dock, or other lake facility, to be “grandfathered” under the regulations.

He will also address questions about ownership of “submerged” property on Lake Buchanan and the other Highland Lakes.

The program also will include discussion of placement and function of buoys on Lake Buchanan.

The May LBCC meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the LCRA complex on Ranch Road 1431 - just off the 1431/Highway 29 intersection widely known as Fuzzy’s Corner.

LBCC is a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving Lake Buchanan and its environs. Its meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month.
