Carrie L. Browne resident of Wimberley passed away July 30, 2010, at the age of 70. She was born November 2, 1939, in Ponca City, Okla.to Hazel Whipple and Joseph Hall.

Carrie was long time resident of Houston until retiring to Llano in 1994.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, wife and grandmother who nurtured all of us.

Carrie was preceded in death by husband, Buck to whom was married for 52 years and by son Jim Browne.

She was survived by two daughters, Shari Araiza and husband Patrick, Susan Davis, and husband Mike; and one son, Rick Browne and wife Barbara; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen, Mary and Iris; and one brother, Lynn.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Thomason Funeral Home chapel, 14700 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley, TX - 512-847-2226.
