Veteran Texas Songwriters Houston Marchman and Kent Finlay will be featured at the bi-monthly Songwriters in the Round Series at the Famous Fuel Coffee House on Thursday, August 19, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.
Marchman, who lives in Austin, has been an important participant in the Texas singer/songwriter scene since the 1970s and is regarded by his peers as a lyrical craftsman who creates compelling songs that often hold audiences spellbound.
Finlay operates one of the most famous songwriter venues in the state of Texas – The Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos. Finlay, a fine songwriter, has also been instrumental in kick-starting the careers of George Strait, Hal Ketchum, James McMurtry, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and many others
Performing with Marchman and Finlay will be host W.C. Jameson, an award-winning songwriter who has recorded five CDs, written sound tracks for three films and one musical, and performs at folk festivals, concert halls, college campus, and other music venues around the country.
Fuel Coffee House is a non-profit enterprise and is located at 106 East Main St. in Llano, Texas
