The 10th Annual Extension Banquet, sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Llano County and the Llano County Leadership Advisory Board, will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at the St. James Lutheran Church Activity Center (Schorlemmer Hall) in Llano. The Leadership Advisory Board is composed of individuals who serve on committees which give direction to the Texas AgriLife Extension Service’s programs in Llano County. We are pleased to have Lisa Whittlesey, Extension Program Specialist-Horticultural Sciences from Texas A&M University, as our guest speaker this year. Lisa is the daughter of John and Patty Kuykendall of Llano.

A variety of award recipients within the Llano County Extension program will be honored as well. A catered meal will be served by the Llano County Leadership Advisory Board. Donations to help with the cost of the meal will be greatly appreciated. Please join us for an enjoyable evening featuring a distinguished guest speaker, musical entertainment, and the opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by August 26 to the Extension Office at 325-247-5159 or 325-247-4849, or you can e-mail us at llano-tx@tamu.edu.

Educational programs of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service are open to all people without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, or national origin. If you need any special accommodations, please contact Jamie Osbourn or Marilyn Hale at 325-247-5159 as soon as possible so we can consider your request.
