Veteran cowboy poets Walt Perryman, George Russell, and W.C. Jameson will be featured at Cowboy Poetry Night at the Famous Fuel Coffee House on Thursday, August 26, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Admission is free. Thursday’s show is the second installment of the Fuel Coffee House Cowboy Poetry Series.

Perryman, famous throughout the Hill Country as the Poet Laureate of Luckenbach, Texas, has long been a favorite performer at that legendary venue. Over the years, Perryman has appeared on shows with hundreds of notable Texas songwriters, singers, and musicians.

Russell, a native Texan who now lives in Colorado, is a veteran performer and has recited his poetry and conducted workshops at a variety of venues in the Rocky Mountain State.

For years, Jameson was a consistent performer at national and regional cowboy poetry festivals. He appeared at the National Cowboy Poetry gathering at Elko, Nevada, as well as at dozens of venues in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, and elsewhere.

Fuel Coffee House is a non-profit enterprise and is located at 106 East Main St. in Llano, Texas.
