The Llano High School Class of 1990 held their 20 year reunion on the weekend of July 30-31. The reunion had a great turnout with over 30 classmates attending the two day event. The following members of the class were able to attend the reunion: Kristine Beesley, Michael Brascom, Christy Chaney, Beth Clement Grimes, Lee Davis, Christie Fisher Carlson, Drew Foster, James Foster, Mary Kay Foster Becher, John Gammill, Natasha Garrett, Gena Hallmark Reven, Brad Hatfield, Richard Houston, Joey James Carney, Roy Kent, Krista Kerbs Myrick, Jeff Kuykendall, Kippi Kuykendall Kenney, Will Larremore, Kyle Lewis, Joe Long, Melanie Moreau Byrd, Shannon Najar Marshall, Rosemary Napolez Hernandez, James Prewitt, Randy Reven, Chad Richardson, Dane Saucier, Travis Simons, Michael Wennes, and Derick Winfrey. The class has 4 of its members that are currently serving in the military and were unable to attend the reunion: Harold Aagaard, James Turner, Josh Ploman and Rick Sturdevant. The class has also lost the following classmates that are sorely missed by everyone: Walter Smith, Charles McCall, Tammy Ratliff and Kathy Prewitt.

The class is remembered for its many accomplishments in UIL, band and athletics while attending Llano schools. During their senior year, the boys accomplished the rare feat of winning district championships in football, basketball and baseball. The football team won district titles during the fall of 1988 and 1989, while the basketball team won a district championship in 1990. The baseball team had considerable success winning district titles during the 1988, 1989 and 1990 seasons. The team made it to the State Semifinals during their junior year, and were ranked #1 in the state before falling in the State Quarterfinals during their senior year.

Although the class has dispersed around the country and represent many different occupations, they each cherished their times spent at Llano High School. We would like to thank the following who helped to make the reunion a success: Diane Hatfield, Brad Hatfield, Billy & Joey Carney, Jason James, Jeff & Veronica Kuykendall, Travis Simons, Rosemary Hernandez, Ben E. Keith Company, Arrowhead Bank, Llano Athletic Booster Club, Hill Country Embroidery, and Coopers Bar B-Q. We thank everyone for their support, and we look forward to our 25 year reunion in 2015!
