Norma Elizabeth Johnson, 84, of Llano, passed away Monday, May 26, in Houston. She was born on June 1, 1923, to Amelia (Titlow) and W.O. Pyle in Coalgate, Okla.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Amelia and W.O. Pyle; her husband, Raymon Johnson; her sister, Flora Pyle Hallmark and her brother, Howard Oscar Pyle.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Larry Ray Johnson of Houston, and Tommy Jay Johnson, of Province Town, Mass.; her grandchildren, Kyle Ryan Johnson, and Kristin Elizabeth Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First Baptist Church at Tow. She married Raymon E. Johnson on March 16, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama.

A graveside service was held Friday, May 30, at Tow Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerald Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Tow.

Arrangements under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Homes, Inc. in Llano.
