Billy Ray Isenberger, 68, a lifetime resident of Llano, passed away Monday, June 9, in Temple. He was born on Dec. 7, 1939, to Vada Gaynell (Wooten) and Charles Ray Isenberger in Llano.
Mr. Isenberger is preceded in death by his mother, Vada Gaynell (Wooten); his father, Charles Ray Isenberger; his step-father, Joseph W. Sieber; his half brother, Joe Bill Sieber; his uncles, Cleo Wooten and Dillon Wooten; and his grandparents, William Bill and Beulah Wooten.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lou Isenberger, of Llano; his daughters, Louann Isenberger-Parker, of Llano, and Sandy Isenberger-Fullen and husband, Bobby, of Llano; his son, Billy Joe Isenberger and wife, Polly, of Llano; his sister, Margaret Ann Neil, of California; his aunt, Audrey Wooten, of Llano; his grandchildren, Brittney Nichole Parker, Tiffany Michelle Isenberger, Natasha Leann Isenberger, Justin Wayne Fullen, Cody Ryan Fullen, Kaleb Morgan, Jacob Ross Parker, and Katherine Ann Mortenson-Vaughn; his great grandchild, Johnathan Vaughn, Jr.; his two great grandchildren on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Isenberger was a retiree from the State Highway Department. He married Mary Lou (Watson) Isenberger in Jasper, Ark. on July 27, 1961.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 12, at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Jay Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at the Llano City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 700 Club.
