The Lakeshore Library will have a presentation of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Tuesday, June 17 at 2:30 p.m.

The visit will include a presentation about the history and mission of the wildflower center. Their mission is to increase the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants, and landscapes.

They will also discuss current programs, native plants and Lady Bird’s connection to the Center. Lakeshore has three titles relating to Lady Bird:

• Lady Bird Johnson: Final Tribute (DVD)

• A White House Diary by Lady Bird Johnson

• Wildflowers Across America by Lady Bird Johnson
