Jessica Lynne Moore and Vernon Leland Crabtree were united in marriage at the Wimberley United Methodist Church on April 5 with the Rev. Laura Merrill and the Rev. Gary Mathis officiating. Jessica is the daughter of Phyllis and Jess Moore, of Wimberley. Vernon is the son of Bernice Crabtree and the late Bert Crabtree, of Llano. For her wedding, the bride chose an elegant white beaded princess style dress accented by a beaded claret red halter and red streamers down the back of the dress ending in a cathedral train. To compliment the dress, the bride wore a short tulle veil.

The bride was given in marraige by her mother and father. Attending the bride were Matron of Honor Laura Kuedell, Bridesmaid Teresa McDaniel and Flower Girl Gabriella Crabtree, daughter of the groom. Serving the groom were Best Man John Cartwright, Groomsman Terry McGovern and Ring Bearer Jacob Hayes. Ushers were Derek Hayes, Henry Hadderton, and Junior Usher Jared Hayes. The wedding dinner and dance were held at Creekside in Driftwood. After the first dance by the bride and groom, guests enjoyed dancing and playing casino games. Following a honeymoon in Idaho, the couple is at home in Austin, where Vernon works for the U.S. Postal Service and Jessica is employed at Esoteric Medical Labs.
