Patsy Peters Sexton, 66, passed away on June 17. She was born on July 23, 1941, in Hatch, N.M. to James Stanley and Burnace (Aileen) Peters.
Mrs. Sexton is preceded in death by her parents; her son, James Carl Dean Sexton; her brother, Jimmy Peters; one of her sisters, Bonnie Curtis; and her great nephew, J.J. Beaty.
She is survived by her husband, Haskell Dean Sexton, of Kingsland; her daughter, Cindy Williams and husband, Danny, of Kingsland; her sister, Dee Beaty, of Kingsland; her grandchildren John Hamilton, and wife, Jennie, of Granite Shoals, Michael Hamilton and wife, Catherine, of Kingsland, Courtney Murphy and fiancée, Phillip Clough, of Kingsland, Elizabeth Sexton, of Kingsland, Vickie Bourland and husband, Jamie, of Burnet; her daughter-in-law, Susan Hernandez, of Kingsland; her 17 great-great grandchildren; her nephew, John Beaty, of Kingsland; her nieces, Patty Conley, of Kingsland, and Starla Benton and husband, Jim, of Burnet.
Mrs. Sexton graduated from Pleasant View High School in Ozark, Ark. She married her lifelong companion Haskell Dean Sexton on Dec. 11, 1961, in Leesville, La. Mrs. Sexton worked in retail most of her life. She loved her family trips to the beach, family gatherings, garage sales, crafts, and the mountains.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday June 19 at the Kingsland Church of Christ in Kingsland.
