The Valley Spring TEEA Club met on June 18 at the Badu House for lunch and it was the last meeting until September.

Twelve members were present and a very brief business meeting was held. The council reported that Pam Jackson and Elna Preston were selected to attend the State TEEA meeting and Vera Honig was selected as an alternate.

Plans were discussed for the Heritage Day coming up Oct. 17 and 18, the Ham and Bean Lunch at the American Legion building and the possibility of a quilt raffle and Sweet Shoppe.

With no other business, the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting will be the third Wednesday in September and will be hosted by Petey Inks at The Acme. If you would like to join this group of TEEA members, call Verna Osbourn at (325) 247-5465 or Linnie Osbourn at (325) 247-3213.
