This Friday night January 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 28 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the historic LanTex Theater, the Extension Education Club will treat you to the zany antics of the Muppets, starring James Segel and Amy Adams and Chris Cooper. The proceeds will help fund their projects, which includes local scholarships.

With the help of three fans, the gang must reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon. The theater use to be as thriving entertainment factory, but now resembles a creepy , abandoned museum. Itching to buy the place, tear it down and drill for oil is tycoon, Tex Richman, played by Chris Cooper. They put together the old Mickey- and -Judy thing by putting together a show to raise the $10 million needed to buy the studio and save it. Kermit, whom they discover in a Bel Air mansion, leads the roundup. They gather the others from their troupe, Foozie Bear, Animal, Gonzo and of course, Miss Piggie. Come this week-end and see their show.
